Frogs Teeth emerged from Welsh soils just after the first lockdown of 2020 as a creative way for me to reconnect with the landscape. Through exploring stone circles, ancient sites and other esoteric spaces, a communion with a mysterious current began to emerge. I found it underlining much of British history, influencing those who visit this isle with occult practices and prophecies, consciously or not. I, the artist and creature writing this about page, Frogs Teeth, began my journey to discover the magic hidden away in countryside stories and forgotten places and found it creeping into the fringes of modern society, in industrial wastelands and in graffitied scrolls lining abandoned buildings. From my growing fascinations came a passion for helping others to engage in the overlooked parts of nature, reclaiming the joy of looking under rocks and delving into the depths of local ponds. Through this, questions began to arise, such as what is ownership of land, how do we share spaces and do Frogs have Teeth? (Some do, but they’re mostly used for scraping). I often engage with ideas and themes relating to freedom, trespass, psychogeography and the impact of access to natural and cultural spaces, and how this influences those living in hyper connected cityscapes.

Often you can find me selling my wares in night markets, haunted pubs, the bottom of cave systems, or any good mist shrouded woods. You can also find my books and zines in the bookshops listed on the stockists page of this website. If you’re unable to find me in the physical realm, I operate a digital market and social media pages.

I am always looking to engage with people who love anything that wriggles, croaks, sticks or spores. Please drop me a message on my contact page if you want to get in touch or collaborate!

What’s going on here then?
